We are kid design blog. However when something special comes along, we often feel compelled to share it.
Ever think your prenatals need a makeover? How about being ridiculously nauseous and having to swallow a horse pill of a prenatal vitamin? Am I bringing back some bad memories for some? I apologize.
Bloom’en Nutrition is a prenatal vitamin chew created by a mom who really knows vitamins. Rebecca Niehus has spent the past 10 years in the vitamin industry. During her pregnancy Rebecca struggled to keep down her vitamins and became determined to find a better way! She found one, because I (while not pregnant yet) can’t stop popping these tasty, citrus, ginger blossom flavored chewables. It’s like candy with omega-3 fish oils, folic acid, vitamin D and lutein. Blossoms are all natural, contain no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
If you don’t believe me, you can ask my husband! I probably shouldn’t share this but my husband grabbed one, popped it in his mouth and said “What are you eating?”. I paused for a minute (which was kinda mean) and then watched him freak when I said prenatal vitamin. I figured it served him right for taking my candy! Funny because he too admitted they were good.
You don’t have to be pregnant to benefit from EPA/DHA/folic acid or to enter to win a plentiful care package of Bloom’en Nutrition Citrus Ginger Blossom Prenatal Vitamin Chews!

At 14 weeks pregnant and nausous all day every day I would like to know who came up with the term “morning” sickness. My sickness does not discriminate and will hit me any time morning, noon or night. I informed my mother the other day that I have thrown up more in 2009 than in my entire 32 years of exsistence. I have the ruined taste buds to prove it…there are a lot of things I can’t taste anymore. Pre-natal vitamins = instant YACK! :) Thanks for a great giveaway!
Meredith
I’ve been a subscriber thru my feeder for awhile now. Thanks again!

Never been pregnant before… but am starting to take pre-natals. I can’t stand them…they make me sick…can’t wait to try these out!!!
Nicole
I am 13 weeks and man it has been a ride, I am sick 24 /7. From day one I couldn’t take my vitimins and I still am unable to. Where can I find some of these to try.
Missy
I’m not even pregnant yet but have been trying to stomach the pre-natals…yuck! Glad to see there is a tasty alternative!
sarah

I don’t get a lot of morning sickness, but the gagging-on-the-vitamin is constant. These sound amazing!! Now if only someone could come up with a way to not feel sick when brushing their teeth?!?
andrea
I have been trying for a month now, but really hope not to have morning sickness when/if it happens (fingers crossed)!

I had terrible morning sickness for the first three months of this pregnancy, losing 10 lbs off of my already thin frame. The thought of swallowing anything, let alone a giant vitamin, made me puke! I wish I would have come across Bloom’en Nutrition Prenatal vitamin chews sooner!
susan varney
i never had morning sickness with either of my pregancy
tara
this pregnancy has really made me ponder the question of which i hate more: feeling nauseous but not vomiting, or, actually vomiting, usually projectile-style. either way, i’ve really gotten to the point where i’ve struggled to get my prenatal vitamin even inches near my mouth… headed to the site for free samples now.
tara
i am a subscriber (and quite a fan of yours in general, i must admit).

I didn’t have “morning” sickness – I had most of my nausea at night. Fortunately I never threw up once! I’m 30 weeks pregnant now and hoping to keep that track record. :)

I had all day nausea that peaked in the evening. Couldn’t keep much down for dinner. These sound great especially because they are free of all the icky extras…perservatives, colors, flavors. Would love to win for pregnancy #2.

I am 6 weeks pregnant and though I haven’t thrown up yet, knock wood, I have near-constant queasiness like I just got off a tilt-a-whirl after a day of too much sun and funnel cakes. It’s a fun ride but man, I wish I could like food again.
Jennifer
Also, I love the blog, I have been a subscriber in my rss for a while now.
Katrina
Most prenatals out there make me throw up so I definitely need something new to take everyday. I hate throwing up!

I had severe morning sickness almost all the way through both of my pregnancies, and I had a hard time keeping my vitamins down. This product would’ve definitely helped me!
Colleen
I just started taking prenatal vitamins because my husband and I are trying for our first and I am already not in love with them! I can’t imagine how I will feel once I am pregnant and possibly have morning sickness too. These sound like something I will have to try!
PS- I am also a subscriber- love your daily emails :-)
Kerstin
While I’ve never had morning sickness, I’ve often suffered from vitamin deficiencies because I FORGET to take my vitamins, probably because they taste so horrible.
brandlyn
I may be pregnant at this very moment so thse vitmains would come in ahndy if I really am. I will know this afternoon.
Alice Hansen
My first pregnancy was a morning sickness nightmare – 40 days straight. Ginger was the only thing that would calm my stomach so I’d love to try these vitamins (because of their ginger flavor) – thanks for the chance!
MFJ
I don’t have morning sickness but horrible indigestion.
Wehaf
I haven’t had any children yet, but my mother had terrible morning sickness with all of her pregnancies. I hope it isn’t a heritable condition!
Bebemiqui
I had awful morning sickness with both kids. This product sounds like something I would’ve loved.

I only had 3 weeks of queasiness–when I could only eat dry turkey sandwiches because I couldn’t smell them–but found certain smells nauseating (some brands of detergents, cigarettes, the meat counter at the grocery store) including the smell of the vitmins. It sounds like these would solve that problem.
Sweetpeas
I haven’t had much “morning sickness” this pregnancy, though I tend to be pretty nauteous when I wake up in the middle of the night.
vicky boackle
great for my daughter who is expecting.
Andreah
I think this is a great product. I had a lot of morning sickness in both pregnancies and couldn’t keep vitamins down. I wish I had known about these then. Thanks for the great giveaway =)

I had morning sickness for 2 months (more like all day sickness). Vitamins made it even worse.
Stephanie Adkins
I am eight weeks pregnant and I have started to get sick. I do not like the taste of my current prenatals and would like to an alternative.
Julie
Ugh…fortunately for me I didn’t throw up more than a couple times…but the constant day-long feelings of nausea and the occasional bouts of violent retching was definately enough for me!! I took to taking my prenatals just before hopping into bed in the hopes that that would keep my body from violently rejecting them…and that seemed to work for the duration of my “morning” sickness. Now I can actually take them with meals as supposed to, but I sometimes still revert back to taking them just before bed!!
Mommy Daisy
I had morning/noon/night sickness from about 5 weeks through 12/13 weeks with my pregnancy. My sister, who is 11 weeks with her first right now, hasn’t had a bit of sickness. Blah!
I hated taking my prenatal vitamins, because they made me burp a funny taste back up. I started taking them before I went to bed, and that was the only thing that worked. I’m sure these would be much easier than that to take.
Melanie D
I have never suffered morning sickness., my best friend is on her second pregnancy and she is soo sick. She didn’t have morning sickness with her first child.
Allison
I was nauseous for a little while, but never actually got sick. On the other hand, any vitamins make me really nauseous, so I would LOVE to try these!!! I’m 21 weeks pregnant and need to do something more than Flintstones ;)
Holly Henderson
I was nauseous the entire first trimester, and it certainly wasn’t limited to the morning! These would be really lovely.
Sara Gillman
I had horrible morning sickness with my first, none with my second…i think these would be so much easier to deal with that those huge horse pills they try to get you to take!!
Ed Nemmers
No on the morning sickness; sounds tasty!
Jennifer M
I’m currently pregnant and through both of my pregnancies now I get the morning sickness that just makes me feel nauseous all day, though I don’t actually get sick. Your description of ‘horse pill’ vitamins is right on the button, too. They’re so tough to take sometimes. I’d love to try these.
Julie
I don’t have much morning sickness but I HATE swallowing my horsepill sized prenatals. My current prenatals have me taking 6 a day plus my DHA/EPA. Blech.
Diane
I just asked the pharmacy if they could recommend a chewable vitamin and they said it doesn’t exist. So email me locations I can buy them if I don’t win them. I need them.
Renee We
I want to try these chewable vitamins.
Gianna
With all my pregnancies i’ve always had pretty intense morning sickness. Surprisingly it was less with my twins. I like the idea of a chewable vitamin.
Lily Kwan
Thankfully I’ve never suffered from morning sickness. I think Bloom’en Nutrition products look very useful!
