How Does Your Garden Grow?

I’ve always wanted to incorporate an exotic asian garden stool into my home. I noticed them years ago during my travels in China and haven’t ever given up the fantasy. I love the vibrant colors combined with the timeless lattice and cane patterns. Made from ceramic, they have a beautiful glossy look (I am always a sucker for anything shiny). Well, garden stools have made the trip West and are now used by top designers everywhere. Just Google Kenneth Brown Design, Burnham Design and Todd Ramano to see for yourself! So why not use one in the nursery? After all, baby deserves sophistication too! Put a simple white garden stool next to your modern rocker as a side table for a stylish, eclectic look. Legend of Asia, Jayson Home and Garden and Ebay are all good places to find these perfect little tables.

If you are looking for something a bit more unique, check out this “Pipa” Side Table from Oly Studio. It’s beautiful and I just love the shape. Unsure of this trend? Write a comment on this blog and tell us what you think.
