A Case of Pinkititis!

Just returned from a visit to the Big Apple and traveling with two small kiddies is no walk in the park but we managed to have a great time nonetheless. (Speaking of parks, if you are heading to Manhattan this summer don’t miss the awesome kid’s concerts in Madison Square Park) It’s only been 6 months since we moved West but my daughter fell right back into NYC life and on day two of the trip she turned to me and said, “Mommy, I really need some black clothes!”. This from a 3 year-old girl that declares her love of pink everyday! So off we went to see the cutest little musical production adapted from that terrific book, Pinkalicious. It’s so adorable they have added additional shows at the New World Stages on West 50th street. Gigi loved it and was reassured once again that loving all things pink was A-OK. This long winded blog leads me to let you all in on a little gem of a paint color by Benjamin Moore called Ballerina Pink. The best pink out there for a feminine nursery. Looks amazing on the walls with some crisp white wainscotting or chair rail molding. This picture comes from Project Nursery subscriber Allison. Thanks for sharing!

Now it’s YOUR turn to tell Project Nursery about your favorite paint color. I have a feeling my little girl is going to be on a purple kick soon since those sneaky authors just came out with a sequel, Purplelicious!

"Secret Rendevous" is also a great pink for a little girls room. It's much bolder than the ballerina. I know, the name is terrible for a daughter's room but the color is hot!
