Personalizing Your Pillows

I have to say I’m a sucker for monogrammed pillows in a child’s room.  Adding a monogram pillow helps personalize the decor of a room. And besides, it looks great tossed on a bed or on a chair! Look how simple and effective the pillows are in this room designed by Katie Ridder.

Here are a few of my favorite finds from online boutiques and Etsy retailers:

16″ x 16″ cotton (includes insert) – $75, from Luxury Monograms

22″ x 22″ Natural Linen Sham $88 + Monogram fee, from Gramercy Home

14″ x 14″ Contrast Monogram Square Pillow, from Etsy retailer Embroidery Collection

Maddie Boo Bedding, contact boutiques in your area for pricing

Lastly, I’ve always been obsessed with this Monogram French Euro Sham for a boys’ room by Leontine Linens.  A budget buster at $275 but stellar just the same!

I’m a sucker for monogram pillows for adults too! I really like the ones from Luxury Monograms, very cute. How hard would they be to make yourself? Any tips or ideas?

Monogrammed pillows are the best. Not only am I a huge fan of monogrammed pillows, but also of monogrammed anything! Even my handkerchiefs are monogrammed, just like the olden days.

I’ve been wanting to get monogrammed pillows for the longest time, but never got around to doing it. From your photos, I like the look of the one by Gramercy Home.
