Lounging With Jennifer DeLonge

Calling all mod tots! Jennifer DeLonge has got your number figured out and the super fly designs keep on coming for the hip and happy family. As a long time fan, I was most excited to meet the designer in person and view her latest creations at the ABC Kids Expo. We both worship anything with a good chevron pattern and for this reason I believe we are kindred spirits. Rocking a vintage crocheted dress and the perfect blow out, DeLonge introduced us to the latest additions to her well established, high-style collection of toddler chairs and sofas, gliders, play tables, trunks and book ledges.

Although I love the simple and sleek Grace Rectangle play table, its the whimsical and stylish wood topped and black spindle leg table that may require a playroom re-do just to give it the proper surroundings. Can you even imagine how cute this would be with some mini Lou Lou ghost chairs at the ends for good measure? The Ava Chair, which was the cornerstone piece when launching the company, got an update with a vibrant spin on a bold Ikat pattern. And can we just pause a moment for the crazy cool aqua mini sofa? A little Alice In Wonderland, a little 1970’s glam and a little present day modern. Blended together, the entire collection is sure to keep on generating big time buzz.

Word is that Jennifer is coming out with a line of crib bedding that will be sold at high end retailers in 2011. Can’t wait to hear more details and see it first hand in the coming months. Jennifer, if you are reading, it was great lounging with you at the show. We’d love to hear some of your favorite design tips for the nursery, playroom or toddler space.

I spotted her new tufted turquoise glider from across the expo floor and made a mad dash for it. I LOVE that Jennifer uses bold colors! We sat in each and every chair and felt every single fabric and they are all to-die-for!

This furniture is simply wonderful! I used to have a company of Heirloom Kids Furniture and it was all specially designed and painted. It was too expensive we found because of the intensity of work to produce it. This is so great and affordable! Love this site!
