Real Rooms: By Colorful Rooms

I love a shopping site that brings merchandise to life with photos of real rooms. It makes it so easy to point, click and purchase.  After all, that’s essentially what we do here with our “Real Room” features so no wonder! Most people are visual and need to see a room pulled together to feel confident that they are making a smart purchase. Colorful Rooms does just that. Not only do they provide great art, accessories and then some for your child’s room but they’ve included sweet shots of rooms in a photo shoot meant not only to sell the products they carry but totally inspire! Here’s a peek:

Colorful Rooms’ owner Amy shares with us the lovely details of her daughter’s nursery below. While Colorful Rooms is known for mixing patterns and color palettes, elegant shades of ballet pink was all that was needed for a strking, all girl statement.

The inspiration for this room was the 2 ballet pieces of art by Oopsy daisy, Fine Art for Kids. I fell in love with the beautiful ballerina “pink” and wanted to design the room around that color.

What best describes your decorating style?

A beautiful collection of rooms! I agree entirely that a piece of art can inspire an entire room.
