Rexton’s Modern Zoo

Description

As soon as I found out I was having a boy, I immediately started searching for the perfect bedding collection to start my design process. After many weeks of scouring the internet, I found the bedding that I absolutely loved with a color palette that was both calming and stimulating.  I didn't want anything that was typical for a boy or that was too baby-like. I am so thrilled how it turned out and hope our little angel enjoys it for years to come!

Design Inspiration

Project Nursery was a huge design inspiration, as well as Etsy.com. The Michael Miller Zoology bedding in Aqua was the start to my creation.

Advice

Have FUN and there is no such thing as starting too early! I began 14 weeks in and didn't finish until right before Rexton was born. It is important to have your husband/significant other help you in the process as it is a memorable experience and you will both appreciate the final product :)

What a gorgeous nursery! We are not finding out the gender but I love your color scheme and the fabric you used on the changing pad, boppy pillow, and little pillow on the glider. Do you remember where you got it from or what it was called? Thank you for sharing!
