Playful and Bright Shared Room

Description

A playful shared girls and newborn boy room. The room was my sweet girl's nursery, but I wanted to update into a playful and fun room for a growing girl and her new brother.

Design Inspiration

The Momena "PLAY" Rug which I bought on Zulily. The minute I saw it, I knew it would be the perfect centerpiece for a playful and fun room, just like the kids living and playing in there!

Decorating Style

For this room - bold, not afraid to experiment with color and I let the rug inspire my color palette.

Favorite Items

The tepee. My husband and I built it as a Sunday Funday project and our daughter loves going in there to read, hide and play with her toys. And I know her brother will have just as much fun crawling in there to join her!

Advice

Don't be afraid to use color! A child's room should be as fun and bright as their personalities.
