Malona’s Pink and Gold Classic Parisian Nursery

Description

A sweet and classic Parisian Nursery

Design Inspiration

My husband and I were planning to go to Paris for our honeymoon, 1 month after our wedding day, and had booked the ticket. However, 1 week before we fly over, we figure out that i were pregnant! Therefore, I always wanted to have a parisian classic nursery for our baby, but with simple and not too busy style.

Decorating Style

Classic, Simple, Parisian, Elegant, and Sweet.

Project Details

Almost everything in this room is custom-made and my DIY project such as:

Wall Mouldings, Crown, Monogram, Mirrored Dresser, Ribbon Mirror, Potter Chair, Angel Wings, and of course the Mini Mirrored Table & Chair Set. The Curtain Bows with greek-key linings, and The Mannequin with the parisian style are my DIY project. Pink and gold flower centrepiece are made from christmas tree accessories and its became my DIY also! The light fixtures (sconces & chandelier) are from local vintage stores which then I re-painted them in distressed gold paintings. The crystal gold table lamp are from local lamps store, and other accessories such as candle holder and angles figurines are also from local store.

Ps. Pardon for the AC installed as this project located in Jakarta (humid country).

Advice

You can create a classic Parisian nursery room with bold colours (e.g gold and pink) with tons of mouldings without being too-busy (and too-vintage), by really careful to where you put the bold colours and where to allocate the engraved elements.

    Hi there!
Do you happen to remember the name of the pink Benjamin Moore paint you used? I LOVE it and just bought a pink of Benjamin Moore paint that just didn’t seem to be what I was hoping for. But I love the pink you used! :)
