Description
This celebrity princess room was designed for a very special 7 year old girl who spent countless hours twirling around as either a fairy or a princess! Being the only girl of four children, we were told that there simply could not be enough pink in this room and so I set out to design an opulent little palace for this sweet little princess. We started by selecting furniture that would last into adulthood and yet had that feminine edge. We custom designed the 100% dupioni silk bedding and added sweet gems and jewels to the pillows and valances. The feather boa lamp added a touch of playfulness and boasted teardrop crystals to coordinate with the stunning chandelier. I topped it off with my own Sherri Blum Regal Crown Monogram Plaque with her initial and my best-selling Storybook Canvas Wall Art. The end result was a room fit for a princess of any age! Designed for the daughter of Lisa and Buddy Valastro of TLC's The Cake Boss.

Project Details
I worked with a custom nursery bedding designer to custom design this bedding set. Every detail is perfect. I created the custom Regal Crown Monogram plaque and Princess Storybook canvas wall art myself. I truly enjoy adding personal custom touches to each of my nursery designs.
Favorite Items
The gem encrusted pillows. They made me want to jump into them and never get up!
Advice
While our lamp was designer made, you could save money by adding your own gems and boa to your own lamp shade. As for the bedding, you could choose satin fabrics rather than dupioni silk to cut back on costs and still have shimmer!

Thank you, Ingrid! The "S" Crowned Art is my own design and can be purchased from my studio. The chandelier was found by the client, however I sourced the Boa Lamp from " I Lite 4 U" and it is ADORABLE! I can obtain one for you if you ever need. I'll upload professional images in coming weeks. You'll love the beading on the pillows. My images here don't do it justice.

I think that the use shiny satin/silk for the bedding is a great idea for a regal looking room. Love that S with the crown and the headboard is lovely too. Everything here looks like it has been made for a queen. Nice job. By the way, where did you get the chandelier and the lamp???
