I wanted to create a nursery that was feminine and bright, but not too “babyish”. We also wanted to stick to a budget and completed a few DIY projects for the room. My mom was a huge help and did the sewing for the curtains and crib skirt and helped with the wall stencil!

I’m pretty much obsessed with all things textiles and if I’m not mistaken, I recognize that curtain fabric as Braemore’s Emperor’s Garden in Blossom and the fun lattice pattern on the crib skirt as Braemore’s Secret Garden in Blossom. Here are links to both:

I love love love this nursery! I’ve been browsing nursery themes for a friend of mine whose due in August. This is my favorite by far! I love that the neutral wall color allows for pops of color in the accents. And I love the eclectic style; perfect blend of classic, modern, mid-century, global chic… funky! Lots of patterns and textures for baby’s developing brain. And of course it’s a bonus that this can be done on a reasonable budget. Kudos!
