Description
I created a gender neutral nursery for my baby (it's a GIRL!) using bold colors and patterns with a safari theme.
Design Inspiration
I was inspired by the monkey wallpaper I sourced from Anthropologie - it created a bold, animal-themed backdrop on which to build the rest of the room.
Decorating Style
Eclectic, whimsical and bold.

Favorite Items
I love the refinished dresser - it adds a pop of color. The glider is so comfortable and adds a nice contrast and pattern to the room.
Advice
Search Craigslist for dressers that can be refinished and Ikea has some great DIY project opportunities. Invest in a quality glider and be sure that the room reflects your personality but provides plenty of visual stimulus for the little one! Have fun hunting for unique pieces.
