Stella’s Glam Nursery

Description

I wanted to create a glamorous baby girl's nursery that was clean, fresh, and feminine.

Design Inspiration

I spent a lot of time on Pintrest figuring out what design elements I liked from other nurseries and how to tie them into my personal style.  I tried to choose colors and decor that could grow with with baby and that weren't too "cute."

Project Details

Lavender Mist Paint Color: Benjamin Moore

Chandelier: Joss & Main

Hot Air Balloon Lamp: Pottery Barn Kids

Jumbo Baroque Mirror: Pottery Barn Kids, http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/jumbo-baroque-mirror/

Macy Chevron Rug: Overstock

Sheepskin Rug: HomeGoods

Crib and Dresser: Natural wood in a gray stain, Berg Furniture from Crib and Teen City

Elephant Pillow: DENY Designs

Elephant Statue: Joss & Main

DIY Projects: Alphabet wall and Tulle Side Table

The letters and frames were purchased at Michaels.  We spray painted the letters semi-gloss white and the frames silver glitter.  We also chose to paint her initials in the matching silver glitter.

Advice

Go with your gut and don't "force it."  Be patient searching for the items you want and have envisioned.  It will take time, but will be worth it!
