Description
I wanted to combine vintage with a taste of modern. Many of the items in the room are hand made by myself, and it has evolved into such a cozy and adorable nursery.
Design Inspiration
Inspiration came from wanting a semi-basic nursery. I started with the crib bedding, plain linen.
Decorating Style
Vintage inspired. I was aiming for clean style with lots of creams and white accents with vintage items scattered throughout.
Favorite Items
Im pretty in love with the big Crepe Paper letter A, and also the crib skirt and bumper I sewed.
Advice
I researched magazines and blogs like Project Nursery, vintage estate sales, farm markets, and thrift stores .. The look all came together very slowly, as I would find pieces here and there to add, and tweak the look, and Im sure the nursery will continue to change as well, but for now, this is what it looks like.

I love that this room is full of handmade stuff. It gives the room a warm and homely feel despite the cool colors.

Nice room. It's simple and it looks clean. It would be nicer if there are photos in the frames above the crib, though.
