Mom Carly injected a little personality into her baby girl’s room with some big design ideas! This is no cookie-cutter girl’s nursery. Note the big wall graphic modeled after the DwellStudio crib bedding. Or how about that molding which makes the tall ceilings a little more cozy? And finally, the angled crib: Have you ever considered angling your crib? Just some fun design for thought and a beautiful, soft, original nursery to inspire…

I’m pretty sure the LOVE print is from Jen Ramos @ MadeByGirl.com (One of my fave designs).

The room is so cute and personal. Love it!

I love the soft and soothing color pallette…the wall decal is terrific. I’ve always wanted to get those book shelves also….such a great space saver and they double as “art” for the wall.
Love to see more Etsy finds as well.

Beautiful room Carly! I agree it’s soothing and it’s a great use of color that’s not traditional girly pink. I LOVE that wall graphic, great idea.

The crib was a hand me down from my niece. I sanded it and painted it off-white (it was originally natural oak). It is the Generation Next crib from Baby’s Dream:

        Graphic –
photocopied the design from the bedding onto a sheet of transparency paper (clear)
projected the image onto the wall with an overhead projector
        traced outline in pencil
filled in with white semi-gloss paint

it helps that my dad does wall graphics for a living! : )
