I choose a unique theme that took most custom-made items to complete the room. Making a bold statement and giving a relaxing scenic feeling at the same time. The walls tell a story and décor establish the mood.

Project Details
My first step towards the nursery room was the wall colors. Colors that were chosen were royal blue, sky blue, white and metallic gold. Which was inspired by a Roman pool. Next step was the trim which really gave the room the flair with the detail gold design. My favorite part of the room was a custom painted Mural of a gladiator that gave the room a story.
Crib was ordered in mahogany stained color. I had to stain the dresser to match and added custom lion knobs bought from Hobby Lobby that really made a statement.
Bedding was a challenge to find. So I started losing hope with finding a perfect match. I decided to have it costumed made. Finding fabrics at the local Joann's fabric store and my sister sewing it up for me. Even had enough fabric left over to make a matching diaper bag.
The room was finally fit for a king!
