Description
We decided to keep the gender of our Christmas baby a surprise so we had to come up with a gender neutral design.
We wanted to create a pretty and practical space that we would enjoy at any time of the day!
Design Inspiration
We started with a color palette of grey, white and yellow and with the idea of the lines on the wall. We wanted a modern and clean look.

Favorite Items
I really like the lighted side table. It was really practical for nightime feedings at the beginning!
The other thing that I like the most is the robot lamp, a gift from my brother. He saw something like it in a store in Paris and decided to make one for is future nephew.
Advice
When using Ikea pieces, try to incorporate items coming from other store. We did not want to replicate the Ikea catalogue.
And do not hesitate to modify some pieces. I really liked the poang rocker but none of the colors worked in the room so my husband spray painted the chair and now it matches the dresser!

I like the modern and minimalist look. It's clean and uncluttered.
