Located in Atlanta’s charming Wildwood neighborhood, this Georgia native mama asked designer Lauren Elaine for a sophisticated scheme that would be traditional, but not stuffy. The colors in the floral fabric by Schumacher balance the soft pink of the drapery and keep the space from feeling too girly. To freshen up the traditional elements, we painted the client’s antique rocker white, selected clean and contemporary artwork and added a sheepskin rug. The client’s love for bunnies really came through in the artwork selection! Always bring in elements of your own personality, since you’ll spend so much time in the space.

www.laurenelaineinteriors.com Early last year, Lauren Elaine Lowe left an award-winning career as a senior designer in VeenendaalCave’s Atlanta office to pursue a passion for residential design. Lauren is inspired by simple and traditional southern and coastal design but infuses every project with a fresh twist, creating sophisticated but personable spaces to play host to beautiful memories. Lauren E. Lowe discovered her love for design very early in life, devouring every page of Architectural Digest and Traditional Home by age 10. Her unique sense of style and keen attention to detail have been developing ever since. She received a degree in Interior Design from the University of Georgia and began her design career in 2010 at a large commercial design firm in Atlanta. During her time there, she received her NCIDQ accreditation in 2013 and won an ASID Georgia Gold Design Excellence Award in 2015. She formed Lauren Elaine Interiors in January of 2016.
