Favorite Items
My favorite thing in the room are the curtains. I bought $12 drapes and we made the valances. It was fun to be able to design my own!
Advice
I recommend finding one thing for your room that you love, and going from there.

It's a mural. We added the flowers, birds and bird cages to get it a look more detail. I used velcro to place the flowers on the wall, so when she get to the age of grabbing everything, I can move them. Plus I will be able to switch them around.

Are the cherry blossoms a wall decal or are they mural paintings? They're really lovely, especially with all those satin or fabric flowers and bird cages.

Those cherry blossom branches on the wall are quite a statement "piece," what with all the things you added to give it a 3D effect.
