I wanted something soft, classic and neutral that would eventually transition to Elena’s big girl bedroom.  Initially I had painted her walls a medium gray with aqua, light pink and dark pink accents.  As time went on I grew to dislike the gray walls more and more.  My husband kept telling me that it needed to be something softer, more feminine (this coming from a guys guy!).  I chose a soft mint color for the walls and added in gold, white and pink accents.  I transferred the decor and furniture that wasn’t used in the new design to her playroom.  Not only does my husband love the transformation, but Elena does too!

      Hi! Love your nursery!

What size letters did you use for her name? Also, what font?

Thank you Jessica! Her name is is in the Almibar font and is 7″ tall and 1/4 ” thick. I have it attached to the wall with 3mm command strips and they are holding up well!

I love what you did in this room!! Did you alter the paint at all? This color looks much more white in my room but I do have less light coming in. Sherwin Williams white mint right?

Aw, thank you Courtney! Yep, White Mint from SW. I didn’t alter it but I also didn’t prime the walls. I painted over a medium gray color which gave it a little more depth probably. Although I did paint 3 coats of the White Mint over it. Some days it looks very light and others you can definitely see the mint. Elena’s room gets full afternoon sun though. Hope that helps!

Hi Nicole, the circle dot chandelier mobile is from an Etsy store called Little Drops of Sun. I ordered it custom but I believe she now has it listed in her shop.
