Alex Turns Two with “Finding Nemo!”

Description

My son's second birthday party, inspired by his love for all things "finding nemo!" another note: this whole party was peanut-safe, as alex has a severe peanut allergy.

Design Inspiration

i absolutely love the colors from the illustrations in "finding nemo" - the orange, teals, blues + whites were the basis for all of the party decor + cake!

Decorating Style

Modern + whimsical | fun + bright

Favorite Items

The custom-made "finding nemo" cake. not only was it gorgeous, but to know that it was totally safe for our son meant the world to us.

Advice

While we had a character theme for the party, i tend to go with solid colors or simple patterns with paper goods/partyware to accent any character pieces. i also knew i needed to try and keep decorations on the simple + clean side, as we were having numerous small children to our house for the party!
