Description
For Declan's Hundred Acre Wood first birthday, I went with a Classic Winnie the Pooh theme.
Design Inspiration
A classic Pooh print fabric from Hobby Lobby.
Project Details
Invitations: Rachellola on Etsy
Wooden Sign: Tore apart a wooden pallet (easy to do and free)
Table Decorations: I used the Classic Pooh printed fabric along with a burlap runner. I borrowed and collected a few A.A Milne books to display along with some stumps that I polyurethaned. A few milk glasses filled with twigs finished the table decor.
Food: I had a chalkboard sign that read "for the rumbly in your tumbly" inviting people to grab some food. On the menu was Pooh's Honey Ham Sliders, "Piglets" in a blanket, Rabbit's Garden Pasta Salad, Tigger Tails (chocolate dipped pretzel rods), Eeyore's Feelin' {Blue}berry Cobbler and Honey Hibiscus Iced Tea served in mason jars
Burlap Sign: a burlap kit from Michaels that I cut out the letters for "Declan Is One" with any leftover Pooh fabric.
Smash Cake: Made by a dear friend. It was made low sugar, gluten free and with all natural dyes. Delicious and perfect for babies first taste of the good stuff.
Chalkboard Sign: made myself and printed at staples (very easy to do)
Cupcakes: Sam's Club and made the cupcake toppers myself.

Advice
I carried in my purse for over two months a swatch of my inspiration fabric. Pulled it out a lot as I was able to pick up supplies on sale here and there to mix and match.

I love your ideas for the party. Could you tell me where you got the clipart to make the cupcake toppers? Thanks!
