Calm and Soothing Nursery

Description

I designed this nursery for my sweet baby boy.  We wanted a nursery that was calm and soothing...easily changed to work for a baby girl later on...and not too babyish!  The walls are grey, the linens are white, and the furniture is mostly white.  The bookshelves and woven shade are chocolate.

Design Inspiration

My inspiration was the antithesis of the rest of our home!  We like color and most of our home is saturated in gold, red, mustard, brown, and black.  For our baby's nursery, we wanted a clean and calm space.

Decorating Style

I'm pretty traditional with some transitional leanings.

Clean, airy and elegant room. The white makes the room look so fresh and light, while the brown makes it look warm, cozy and earthy.
