We wanted her room to look like it came right out of a designers portfolio, so once we moved recently I started brainstorming and decided on a modern but vintage mix, and I love damask print things so that was my fist inspiration….the mirrors were first then the curtains went perfectly, making it easy to keep a pink and blue themed nursery.

You have to share some tips on how you were able to paint that blue and pinik wall, that is simply awesome!

So pink and lovely!  I love how the wooden furniture adds class and beauty to this room, with its pretty pink walls. That Christmas tree is also very darling, where did you get it???

The christmas tree is from Kohls- it was very inexpensive! For the walls, we painted the pink frst then taped the lines for the blue and painted that.  for the blue, we used 2 inch painters tape and did all of the lines going one way then taped on either side then removed the middle tape and pained there- then did the exact same for the other set of lines, both took 2 coats of paint.  It was a PAIN. good luck if you try! It takes a lot of measuring and level-ing.

Oh, is that so? I was looking for little inexpensive trees for a Christmas vignette I was planning to put up. But too bad, Christmas is now over and I wasn’t able to execute the plan. =(
