Bennett’s All American Nursery

Description

We wanted a colorful but masculine nursery for our son, Bennett. We loved the traditional navy and white, and added some pops of royal, aqua and red.

Design Inspiration

The navy and white striped curtains, the stripe on teh wall and the big initial over the crib were the first design elements that we decided on, and the ideas grew from there.

Decorating Style

Traditional, eclectic, shabby, classic.

Project Details

I made the curtains, all the bedding, the changing pad cover, all the garlands and bunting, the shadowbox and the memory board. All of the tutorials and information on other accessories can be found on my blog, www.thelutonstakeloganville.blogspot.com.

Favorite Items

I loved the rug from Urban Outfitters, and the mini boxing gloves in the shadowbox.

love it! Bennett is our boy name too! Can I ask where you got the wooden? (I think) letters on the wall that say bennett rutland? Great job!

Umm, I only saw the name on one thing. I love everything! The different tones of blues go so well together. It's not too much of one color. I love the personalization added to the room and my favorite feature is the door No 3 label!!!! Absolutely adorable room Amanda:)

Is his name Bennet? Jk the name on almost everything is a little overkill.. I do love the stripe wall, pillows in the crib and the ombré dresser though!

I wanted his name (and his initials) to be design elements themselves in the room. Definitely not for everyone, though! :)
