Description
This was an 8 month project! After many frustrations, delays and decisions it is finally done.
Design Inspiration
As soon as we found out that we were having a baby that I wanted to do purple and gray nursery if it was a girl. I used pinterest for SO many ideas and inspirations! I'm a pinterest addict!
Decorating Style
We really DID NOT want a very "babyish" room. No cartoony animals or bedding. We wanted it to be clean and fresh looking with an elegant girly feel. I wanted it to be cute, but not cliche to what a lot of nurseries look like.

Advice
I'm an artsy person, so I really wanted to put some personal touches into the room. Like the handmade curtains and skirt, the artwork, the custom closet(it was a pinterest idea, but it was handmade by one of my best friends). There is nothing wrong with doing DIY if you are a crafty person. I recommend ikea for shelving and little things like frames, don't buy super highend for a nursery (the baby isnt going to know the difference), however do it the way you want because you spend about as much time in there as the baby will. The room should be comfy for mom, dad and baby.
What are the paint colors you used? It’s beautiful the nursery.
