Description
We wanted to create a glamorous nursery that our little girl could grow into! With the main color in the room being gold, we incorporated shades of coral and aqua.
The focal point of the room is the gold glitter wall...and pictures don't do it justice! The other three walls have metallic gold polka dot decals. There are many DIY touches throughout the room - starting with the decals that I cut out myself, to the gold gumball machine and coral owl lamp. Spray paint can take ordinary pieces and make them pretty amazing!
Design Inspiration
The room centered around some glitter wallpaper that I fell absolutely in love with! Everything else just added to that!

Sorry I don’t check these comments often! Thanks everyone for the sweet comments – I purchased the glitter wallpaper from http://www.thebestwallpaperplace.com. It was fabric backed and I had a professional hang it for me (I am NOT well-versed with hanging any type of wallpaper, and didn’t want to mess it up!). I ended up using a little under 6 rolls!
Here is the listing for the peel/stick gold vinyl! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BLS5SVQ/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Omg!! Where did you get the glitter gold wallpaper?
Where did you order the glitter wallpaper from? Thanks
Hey, Amy! Loving that glitter wall. I know you’ve been bombarded with questions, but I’m going to add one more. Did you get the fabric backed glitter, or the holographic rolls?
I need this glitter wall in my little ones nursery! How difficult was it to hang the wallpaper and about how many rolls did you end up buying? ?
I love the glitter wall. How many rolls did you have to buy to cover the whole wall?
Hi Amy! Your decorating style is awesome! Love everything about the room!! I fell absolutely in LOVE with this crib from Bratt Decor – unfortunately, they discontinued it. I know this is a long shot, but any chance you are selling the crib any time soon? I found one on Etsy but it’s not the same color

I love the monogram- on etsy, i only see the letters without the circular background, but i really want the background to make the letters stand out how did yu do this and what materials were needed?
Elizabeth – I had it painted at a vintage/restoration store…they actually matched the paint to the color color in her bed skirt!
I was wondering if you painted the dresser yourself or had it painted. I wanted to know what brand/color paint you used. Thanks
Chandelier – lampsplus.com
Rug – wayfair.com
Crib – brattdecor.com – also has the bars to make a four poster or canopy!
There are pictures of the opposite walls in this post!
Thanks everyone!
Love the room! Do you have pictures of the opposite wall?
I’m looking for cribs for my baby girl and I fell in love with the one you have! Where can I find something similar??
Where did you get the chandelier and rug? Love it!!
It’s one of the “shades of gold” – the color is sand!!
It is “sand”! I suggest getting a sample to see the color in person since photos don’t really do it justice. It really is so much prettier in person!
Hi Amy, I am trying to order the gold wallpaper that you used for this amazing nursery but I can not figure out what shade of Gold you used. Did you but the “shade of gold” or “gold glamour”?
LOVE this nursery!!!! What exact shade of gold glitter wallpaper is it?? there are so many different choices on that sight
[…] our September Project Gallery winners, and there is a lovely, feminine twist to both projects. The Coral and Gold Glitter Nursery is glamorous beyond words with those gorgeous, gold polka dot decals. And wow, a tea party has […]
I ordered rolls of peel & stick vinyl off Amazon for the decals! Just used a circle cutter to cut them out to the size I wanted…super easy!! And MUCH cheaper – for the bigger precut circle decals, they were around $3-4 each. I was able to get 30 out of a $23 roll of vinyl!
Amy, we met when you brought that little angel to the church in Paragould. Just wanted to say that this is the most AWESOME Nursery I’ve ever seen, You have a great talent and should be an interior decorator, you have the touch!!!!
PS. did Carolyne’s Nursery Win????
I know the polka dot decals were DIY but what kind of material is it and how did you post it to the wall?
