A Space for Baby and Mom

Description

A room to grow into, is what I always envisioned for our baby.  We are finally pregnant after four years of IVF treatments, and such I've had a lot of time to think about what would make the perfect nursery.  It was important for me to have a quiet, calm and inviting space where baby, mom and dad could create special moments together.

Design Inspiration

Inspiration for this project began with those beautiful golden polkadots on our feature wall.  I knew I didn't want a traditionally "girly" nursery, so I gravitated toward grey's with hope of adding feminine details (for ex changing out the knobs of the dresser, or the DIY mobile in soft pastel colours.)

Decorating Style

I'm not sure I have a style.  I've never considered myself "creative" in the traditional sense.  That being said, I love to explore Pinterest and other sites for ideas and have found that I lean towards cooler colours, and clean straight lines.
