Guess Which Celebrity Nursery Inspired this Gorgeous Space

Designer Vanessa Antonelli is back to share one of her gorgeous nursery designs. This one is especially interesting because it’s a bit of a look for less. Vanessa had a client who fell in love with a celebrity nursery Vanessa had designed (take a look, I mean, who could blame her?). Vanessa found a way to please her new client and give her a fresh design. We’ve got the scoop from Vanessa herself—read below for the details!

This nursery belongs to a client that hired me for e-design. E-design is a great option for the family that does not need me on-site to execute the design from start to finish but wants a professional specifically in the baby industry to interpret their likes, wants and preferences and create a design for their space that is perfectly pulled together and, of course, safe.

My client found me because she fell in love with a nursery I designed for Ali Fedotowsky, featuring a large flower wall and wanted me to re-create that space on a smaller scale for her daughter. For a designer, that can be a major dilemma (at least for me it is!).

I want to make my clients happy, but copying my own work that someone else already paid for is almost the same as copying someone else’s work to me. It just feels all sorts of wrong.

In the end, I was happy that I was able to work with the client to create a design that was new but didn’t lose any inspiration that were her must-haves. We ended up with a dream space for her own little girl.
