We created this room for our sweet baby Sarah Emily – due any day now. The curtains and other items are hand sewn/made.. and most of the furniture was repurposed. We wanted a soft feminine room. We were inspired by another PN room – Chloe’s Room.

Thank y’all!! To Toraason23 – we got the knobs and pulls at Home Depot… they were pretty reasonable. To paint the crib we: 1) lightly sanded it (it previously was dark wood and had a finish on it – so you have to roughen that up so that paint will adhere), 2) dusted it off – we used damp washclothes, 3) primed it with “adhesion primer” from Sherwin Williams and then painted it (two coats) with “proclassic acrylic-alkyd” satin – also from SW. I know their paint can be pricey (my husband works there so we get a discount)… but it turned out well. Good luck!!! I’m sure you’ll end up with a beautiful product!

It’s interesting how you inserted blacks into this pink nursery. You did quite subtly and very effectively. I just wonder how little Sarah’s room look in natural light, without the subdued lighting. Great job on this budget nursery; one can never tell it’s created on a budget!

Your chandelier is gorgeous and it sets off the light in such a pretty pattern on the walls. What a serene little nursery for a llucky girl… Love it!

I’ve looked at hundreds of nursery examples and this is the one that really has sparked my interest. I love the paint colors and the effect the chandelier reflects on the walls. You mentioned Sherwin Williams, but do you know the names of the colors? Great job!!
