Design inspiration can come from anywhere—what inspired your nursery design?
Since we live near the mountains, I wanted to bring the magical feeling of the woods into my son’s nursery. The Cole & Son wallpaper added the perfect enchanted backdrop and was the inspiration for the space.

How did your personal style influence your design choices?
I believe this space perfectly captures my love for blending modern and vintage elements as well as pattern and texture play, which I also love.

What were your nursery must-haves when you started? Has that changed since you started using the space?
For this space, my must-haves were a comfortable gliding chair, functional storage and a cozy vibe. In addition to what I started off with, I also added a changing area to the top of the dresser.

What is the one thing that you would tell other parents to consider when they’re starting their own nursery design projects?
I would ultimately suggest that they think about who they are, where they live and the things they love. This is a great starting point to create a personalized nursery that works well for you and your little one.
