Celebrity Design Reveal: Christine Lakin’s Nursery

With revivals like Fuller House and Girl Meets World popping up, it has us reliving our TGIF days, so it was a delight to get a chance to see Christine Lakin’s nursery. You may remember Christine as the tomboy sister from Step by Step, but she’s been a busy working actress for all this time. Now she’s taking on a new role as mom to baby girl Georgia James. We think you are going to love her nursery. Thank you, Christine, for sharing this special space and a little bit about it with us!

To decorate the walls, we hung artwork by our photographer friend Jamie Arrigo and some paintings my husband did as well.

The quilt was made by my husband’s great aunt and is such a special gift straight from the heart of the Midwest. Handmade traditions like that are so incredible and unique.

Georgia is just starting to take in the colors and movement of her mobile, and it’s so fun to watch her change and grow everyday.

Mabel’s Labels have also helped me keep gifts and hand-me-downs organized. Many of my friends had girls and passed on their treasures to Georgia.

A well designed nursery that’s not lacking in personality. I love the personal touches like the quilt made by a family member. Nurseries do not have to look new and show-room like :)
