DeAnna Pappas Stagliano, former contestant of The Bachelor and a Bachelorette herself, found true love away from the cameras, and last year, she and her husband, Stephen Stagliano, welcomed a baby girl. We shared baby Addison’s pink and gray nursery last spring, and we are so pleased to be revealing Addison’s first birthday party today. It’s a great pleasure to be able to follow the precious beginnings of all these sweet babies on Project Nursery!
The party, thrown by Good Carma Studio, featured a “Sprinkled with Love” theme and was filled with so many thoughtful details—much of the event decor was created by the very talented Laura Stewart Design. You’ll have to let us know which element is your favorite—we are just in love with the confetti balloon station!
When your theme involves sprinkles, you are free to bring in a ton of beautiful colors. This party was “sprinkled” with bright pink, lime green, yellow, turquoise and metallic gold.

There were plenty of sweet treats that were just as lovely to look at as I’m sure they were to taste. Of course, there were plenty of sprinkles to go around!
Isn’t this such the perfect first birthday shot? I swear my own photo albums are filled with baby pictures of me holding one of my shoes in my hands. Looks like little Addison couldn’t resist her Stride Rite party shoes either!
This adorable family of three made sure to take a stop at the photo op area to enjoy a moment together during the festivities.
The confetti balloon bar, as I mentioned above, is just awesome. Guests were instructed to blow up a balloon, fill with confetti (using confetti-packed straws), tie it, shake it and then pop for a fun explosion of confetti.
We’ve always loved Munchkin for their colorful kids products, but who knew their snack catchers could look so pretty displayed all together as a centerpiece just ready for little hands to grab for a party snack?
Guests could also enjoy a “sweet” party favor with these adorable cupcake bath toys.
Sensory tables are always a huge hit with kids, and we’re sure these mini neon rice stations helped keep the older kids entertained during the party.
And, of course, what’s a first birthday without the perfect cake? Addison had her own smash cake to enjoy all by herself.
Guests left with goody bags featuring items from Mabel’s Labels—you can spot one of their Bag Tags hanging off the totes.
