This little girl’s nursery is all glam, all the time! From the bold eggplant color walls, the sumptuous silks and velvets, and the elegant mirrored end table, this nursery is anything but ordinary. The client’s choice of dark, rich woods are in perfect harmony with the deep jewel tones of eggplant and green, and adding pops of ivory added the right amount of contrast. This nursery uses a layered look to give it luxury and depth, such as the stenciled damask panels behind the crib layered with colorful art hung from silk ribbon. I am so excited about how this project turned out, and I hope it provides lots of inspiration!!

I absolutely love that rug!! Does anyone know where I can get one?

The damask rug is from Target.com. Such a great find for not a lot of $$$.

Is that rug still available at Target? If not, then where? I must have it!

I can’t find that rug anywhere! Has anyone had any luck? There is one very similar at Pier One right now that is on sale, but the green is a little different. I cannot find it on Target.com

This nursery is very classy. It’s the colors, the silk, and the dark wood furniture. The growth chart looks fabulous and whimsical, too.

Not very fond of eggplant purple and green of that shade, but I like the crib and the armoire/closet. I also like wicker baskets.

Wow, where did you get the bedding? I love it!

I love everything about the room! I really like the crib (the little area underneath to store stuff – love it) where did you buy your crib?

Thanks for all the positive comments! To address the questions, I do not think the rug is available from Target anymore, but there are similar green and brown damask rugs at Pier One, WorldMarket.com, and InsideAvenue.com. The bedding was custom made using silks and velvets sold at Fabric Factory in Dallas. The crib is from Babies R Us, and the changing station is a custom made piece built to recreate the Madison changing station at Pottery Barn Kids. Best of luck to everyone with your own creations!

I love this bedding and would love to make one similiar to this. I know this is a really random question to ask but wondered if you would be willing/able to still purchase the fabric needed for this bedding. If you could please let me know that would be very much appreciated. I have scoured the internet trying to find some similar fabrics. Thanks a bunch.

I was curious where you found the crib mobile? One of the cutest ones I’ve seen anywhere. Thanks!
