Are you ready for a really quick and easy DIY to help eliminate clutter and bring some character into your nursery or playroom? I have the perfect solution! All you need to make this rolling vintage toy crate is a wooden crate—I used a vintage milk crate that I found at a local antique shop—some rolling casters and a few screws. You don’t have to have a vintage crate—any wooden crate will do. You could even purchase a plain one at your local craft store and paint or decorate it to coordinate with your decor.
Materials: wooden crate, rolling casters, wood screws, screwdriver
Gather your supplies, and let’s get to work! My favorite tool for DIY projects is my power screwdriver.
Start by flipping the crate over and attaching one rolling caster to the first corner of the crate with wood screws. Make sure the crate you choose doesn’t have any sharp edges that could harm little fingers!
Repeat this until all four corners have a caster. Turn over, admire your work and fill up your rolling vintage toy crate with your little one’s treasures!
How do you corral your kids’ toys in the nursery or the playroom? Did you DIY a storage solution?
