Daniel’s room, designed by our own Design Expert Michelle of Bellini, is a strong example of nautical influence in the nursery. Let’s see how Project Nursery readers are interpreting the great blue seas by peering into the Project Gallery.
Sailing runs in this designer’s family so it as only natural to create blue and white themed nautical nursery. The Saturday Evening Post is my favorite element in this room!
Baby’s beach nursery was designed in gender neutral colors should baby number 2 be a sister to the boy who lives here now!
Stella’s Nursery offers a spin on the classic blues and reds we typically see in nautical design.

Is it weird that baby’s beach nursery inspires me to revamp my own bedroom?!

The Baby Beach nursery looks so calming and relaxing…except the sign in the second picture has the wrong word. It should say “Then” instead of “Than”…

I had not seen Nautical done in a girl’s room yet….adorable!

I love nautical nurseries! When my husband and I have a son, I definitely want to do a nautical themed nursery! I never thought of having one for a girl, but it’s really cute!

What a grand mural! Makes me feel I am already at the beach. Murals make such a world of difference to a room’s decor, it’s the most amazing thing in the world of decorating right now.
Love the concept and the colors for the girl nursery are so relaxing.
Thanks for sharing.

Even if so many parents have adopted this theme for their babies’ nurseries, I don’t think I will ever get tired of the nautical theme. A nautical/beach theme allows you to play with so many elements and there are so many design inspirations.

Nautical themed nurseries always look great to me. Among these examples you have, my favorite has to be the gender-neutral Baby’s Beach Nursery. I love the many whimsical details in this room.

The first photo was not designed by the design expert michelle at bellini the furniture came from bellini. The room was designed by Mary Dubois. She also did the mural herself. I know as this is my sons room. Just wanted to give credit to the right person.
