2013 Nursery Trends: Urban Jungle

This design is near and dear to me mainly because I live in the ultimate urban jungle of Manhattan. The fact is, more and more couples are making the decision to raise their families in the city. So why not embrace the neon lights, the hustle and bustle and create a contemporary nursery with energizing color? Start with a basic black and white palette, and let your street smarts carry you through the design process.

What do you think of this style? Would you go for this look for your nursery?

I love those city wall stickers most of all. They’re bright and colorful and they really establish the modern city theme.

Love your take on the urban jungle nursery trend. A friend of mine had urban jungle on her mind when she decorated her son’s nursery, too, and it’s amazing how differently you two interpreted it.
