Design Board: Chase’s Black, White & Yellow Nursery

While we’re teetering on 10 months to get here, I just wanted to share that Chase’s (budget) nursery makeover is going nicely. We’ve painted, patched and taped over the past few weekends as a family. There’s nothing like having a 3 year old trying to paint along side you and a crawling baby at your feet. We survived and surprisingly, very little yellow paint hit the hardwood floors . So without further ado, here’s the low down on my latest design board for my now big baby Chase…

1. Frames: Natural Ribba picture frames to display photographic art

2. Paint: Chalkboard in black, Olympic’s zero-VOC interior paint in white (eggshell) and Behr in Macaw (eggshell)

3. Letter C: Custom wooden letter created by Etsy artist

4. Pendant Light: DWR Coral Pendant

5. DIY Roller Shade: Sofia small stripe fabric (Used packing tape and 2 yards of fabric to repurpose an old shade!)

6. Print: Name Your Design custom poster print

7. Floating Shelves: Purchased years back at PBK but any floating shelves will do.

8. Chair: Ikea Ektorp chair in white

9. Accent Pillow: Jonathan Adler wool Lemon pillow

10. Desk: South Hampton Collection from Target

11. Table Lamp: The beloved Jonathan Adler Giraffe table lamp

12.  Storage Baskets: Banana leaf natural baskets

13. Crib: Land of Nod Sleigh Crib in white

14. Rug: Koldby cowhide

15. Storage Ottoman: Zidzid kids Starburst eco poof (currently out of stock)

16. Side table: West elm’s Dot side table

17. Frames: Ribba white shadow box frames

18. Bookshelf: Catalina magazine rack from pottery barn kids – ON SALE NOW

19: Wall Sticker: Fabric wall decals by Pop and Lolli

20. Diaper pail: Testing out the new Diaper Genie Elite

21. Diaper Caddy: Made from of tin pots starting at .79 cents!

22. Mirror: Simple white mirror from Martha Stewart’s collection at Home Depot

23. Mobile: Happy whales mobile

24. Dresser & Changing Top: The Walden collection dresser from Land of Nod

Lots of additional details are still to be determined such as finalizing the custom crib bedding, art, shelving accessories, closet storage and how to convince my husband why I so desperately need that awesome, designer DWR pendant light! I look forward to sharing a few fun DIY tips next before the big reveal. Xo, M

Love the look and feel. I love the modern nursery and all the nursery accessories that make up this nursery. I also found a lot of cool products at My Urban Child that would work as well.
