JJ Cole Caprice Diaper Bag: Affordable and Chic

We showcase a lot of diaper bags on Project Nursery, and some of them are super high-end. What about a bag that gets the job done, looks great and is a more affordable option? Sounds perfect to me. Personally, I just can’t let myself spend too much on a diaper bag. The new Caprice Diaper Bag from JJ Cole strikes the perfect balance. It has all the features I’m looking for, and the price tag ($69.95) doesn’t make my thrifty self cringe.

Ever since my second son was born, I’ve been looking for a larger diaper bag to accommodate both of my kids’ gear. The inside of this bag is really roomy, which is great when you are still carrying around a thousand teethers and toys to entertain your baby out on the town. Not to mention the diapers, extra sets of clothes, nursing cover or bottles…you know how it goes. I love that the bag opens up nice and wide so I’m not digging like Mary Poppins to find that baby sock that I just know is in there somewhere.

There are plenty of pockets, including insulated bottle pockets, four interior pockets and zipping pockets on the front for easy access to your wallet, cell phone and keys. A wipeable changing pad is also included—it folds up nice and small so it fits snugly into the bag and out of sight. The bag has a removable padded shoulder strap, tote handles and stroller clips that fit onto your stroller handle with a no-slip grip.

The color and pattern options are modern and chic, and I think the bag looks more expensive than it actually is.

Really pretty diaper bags. I wouldn’t mind using this sans the diapers and the baby stuff!

I like how these bags do not look like diaper bags at all. They have an elegant and casual design, and they would make a great everyday bag.

Diaper bags nowadays are so cool. They’re hip and they no longer have that big, bulky look.

are the tote handles long enough to wear on your shoulder??? or do you have to use the messenger strap???
