Twin Boy Nursery with Arched Mural Wall Decal

We love a twin nursery—it’s the perfect opportunity for double the cuteness! In this twin boy nursery, we love how mom Katie used an arched mural wall decal as a backdrop to both cribs. The focal wall looks perfectly balanced with the modern acrylic oval cribs in front of the beautiful desert sunset.

Katie is a stay-at-home mom to her eighteen-month-old twin boys, Brooks and Oscar. She and her family live in Sydney, Australia where you can see a great view of the city from her twin boys’ nursery! You can follow along with Katie and her family on TikTok or Instagram. While many of the items in this nursery are sold in Australia, we shared some similar choices that are available in the US. Thank you, Katie, for sharing your space with us!

Where did you pull inspiration for your nursery design?
I love the aesthetic of the desert and cacti. We are getting married soon in Cabo San Lucas where the desert meets beach, and I loved incorporating that.

What is one thing that you would tell other parents to consider when starting their own nursery design project?
Be creative if you want to be and don’t be afraid to do something different. Nurseries are meant to be fun, so it’s a great outlet to do something bold!
