Neutral Boy Nursery Room Tour

When we spotted Morgan Osborne’s neutral boy nursery on her instagram account, we were reminded how impactful even just a single wall decal can be in a nursery.

We love how Morgan decorated her brand new baby boy David’s space simply with neutrals, allowing the minimalistic dune decal to really shine.

Morgan took a minute out of her busy life as new mom and active duty Military Intelligence Officer to answer some of our questions about her space. Thank you, Morgan, for sharing with our readers!

Where did you pull inspiration for your neutral boy nursery design?
I pulled inspiration from a Instagram post from Project Nursery, of course!

What part of the design process did you enjoy the most?
Adding the small details that add texture and character to the room. I knew the simplicity of it all would give me peace of mind and joy.

What is your favorite part or detail in your nursery?
My favorite detail is the dune wall decal. This was the piece that I feel brought it all together! The room didn’t feel complete until I added it.

What is one thing that you would tell other parents to consider when starting their own nursery design project?
Think about functionality, purpose, and what will bring you the most joy.

It’s not just your little one’s nursery. It is also a space you will spend a lot of your time as a parent. Each item should have a purpose in there, whether it is for design or for baby.
