Half the Size + Double the Fun

We asked ourselves over and over as we prepped for Baby #2’s arrival—should we get a double stroller? We thought with an age gap of almost four years and a toddler who refused the stroller on most days that he would much rather walk, and a single stroller would do the job just fine. Fast-forward to our first outing as a family of four and cue the toddler meltdown when he realized there was no seat for him, and he actually had to walk—rookie parent mistake.

It turned out we were in need of a double stroller after all, but we were determined it would not be one that would have us repeating over and over, “Excuse me,” “Pardon me,” “Oops, I don’t know if I will fit through!” We are constantly on the go, so size and convenience were two big factors for us. We wanted something that was going to be durable enough to handle two kids and travel with us from day trips to vacations.

Enter the phil&teds Sport Stroller. It met all of our needs and then some. With the addition of the Double Kit, it keeps the footprint of a single stroller even when in double mode, so we can fit through just about any space easily. There’s more to love about this stroller though.

There are a variety of riding options to suit your needs. You can go from one to two kids so easily no matter what the ages are. We’ve got a little one on our hands, and we love that we can lay her down for a nap on-the-go (#secondchildproblems) and shield her from the cold temps that we have around here. Flip-flop the double kit seat around and voila! It’s like a whole new stroller! We even plan to add on the Freerider stroller board because we know that would land us some extra points in the parenting game for sure.

For solo rides with my littlest, she gets a front row seat and couldn’t love it more. The Double Kit allows you to switch to parent facing, which is important when you’ve got a young baby in your crew. You can also purchase car seat adaptors for select car seats to give you the convenience of a travel system.

The world’s first hands-free auto stop brake at the handle bar puts safety at the top of the list. You no longer have to worry about your stroller slipping away as you dig through the diaper bag to get that snack your toddler is demanding from the sidelines.

No more bumpy rides with these bad boy tires either. The big, all terrain air-filled tires make it easy to go from a smooth stroll around the block to an adventurous morning walk on a nature trail. P.S. Check out that storage space you still get with two kids in tow!

It’s no surprise that we fell in love with the phil&teds Sport Stroller. New mamas on the market for your first stroller? Check this one out. We’re loving it, and most importantly, it will grow with you as your family grows.
