Being your best self is often way easier said than done. I think the biggest lesson that I have learned since becoming a mother almost a year and a half ago is that the better I feel about myself, the more present and whole I can be for my family. Once we have given birth, the shape, feelings and functionality of our bodies can often become a source of despair. A weakened core, annoying aches and pains, poor posture, abdominal separation, pelvic floor weakening and more can lead to unhappy feelings that get in the way of being our best selves!
Isn’t is ironic? During pregnancy, we take the time to be aware and educated on the changes that our body is going through. We do our best to learn and take care of ourselves as we grow to protect our little ones. But once our babies are born, we all too easily completely forget about our own bodies. Even if it’s been years since you last gave birth, we believe it’s never too late to strengthen and heal our bodies! Let’s dedicate some time to focusing on self-care, mamas!
Erica Ziel and her Knocked-Up Fitness programs are popular topics here at Project Nursery. We love her restorative workouts and gentle approach. That’s why we are excited to join her Ob/Gyn- and Physical Therapist-approved Core Rehab Program—and you’re invited too!
Over the course of six weeks (but take the program as fast or as slow as you need!), Erica will lead you through six phases of core-centered exercises designed specifically with moms in mind. She begins by focusing on posture and hip alignment, then thoughtfully moves to rotations, planks and crunches. Erica’s program has been meticulously crafted for safety, results and enjoyment—three qualities that we will work to find time for!
Her six-phase program has been completed by moms of all shapes, sizes, ages and strength levels, and the results are outstanding! Runners got their groove back, abdominal muscles became tight and properly positioned, back pain was drastically reduced and best yet, Knocked-Up Fitness moms feel amazing about themselves inside and out!
We want all of our moms to feel this wonderful that’s why we’re inviting you to grab your mommy friends and take on The Core Rehab Program starting May 22! Click here for details and to join.
