The shoe struggle in the Saulsbury home is real! Unfortunately, I have blessed both my children with the curse of extra wide feet. It’s something I’ve struggled with my whole life, and now the battle continues with my kids. Not to mention, Addison is a toe walker, so all shoes that aren’t tied down to her feet slip off and are mysteriously destroyed.
Before school started, I knew both kids needed new shoes, and the idea of taking two kids shoe shopping was not my idea of a good time. I wanted to try a new approach—some place with tons of options where the trip wouldn’t end with tears over a popped balloon and a sold-out size. This year my go-to spot for all our back-to-school shoes was Rack Room Shoes.
Both their styles and prices were spot on. After all, who doesn’t love a “Buy One, Get One 50% Off” promotion? I was able find everything we needed—play shoes for school, boots for when she wants to “dress up” and a pair of running shoes for cheer practice. Even Blake scored a pair of cool kicks due to the “buy one, get one 50% off” offer.
As for the wide feet problem, Rack Rooms Shoes gives you the option to select the width size on select styles. Being members of the wide feet category, my family finds that to be a huge plus.
In addition to offering fabulous styles at affordable prices, Rack Room Shoes offers free shipping on orders over $50. To help sweeten the deal, Rack Room Shoes is raising funds for families in need through their Shoes That Fit Campaign. You can donate easily when you check out online on Rack Room Shoes or in any Rack Room Shoes store location, and 100% of the funds donated go back into the communities to help children in need of shoes. Rack Room Shoes has committed to matching all donations made, up to $300,000.
Using Rack Room Shoes to outfit my kids’ kicks this year was a win-win. Everyone walked away happy!
Don’t forget—there is still a chance to win a $100 Shopping Spree to Rack Room Shoes as part of our #2Cool4School Ultimate giveaway. Hurry, contest ends September 18th at 11:59pm PT.
