How to Save Paper, Wash Less Dishes & Still Have an Adorable Kid’s Table this Easter

I was cleaning out my pantry the other day and came across a bunch of random leftover holiday paper plates. There were a few Christmas plates, a few Halloween and not enough of any one design to actually use them at an event. I decided right then and there that this year I’m not going to buy any more themed paper plates, and I came up with a great DIY alternative.

I designed this sweet free printable Easter plate backer that you can use to easily dress up clear plastic plates. You can still have a festive kid’s table without getting stuck with a bunch of extra themed paper plates, and you’ll wash less dishes too! If you have any leftover disposable plates this time, they will work for any occasion. And of course this printable will also work under clear glass plates if that’s what you prefer.

If you really hate washing dishes, you can even pick up disposable cutlery—I picked up both the plates and cutlery at my local Target store. To finish the kids table, I created cloth napkin bunnies, a small floral arrangement and some jelly bean favor boxes. I hope your Easter kids table turns out simple and sweet!
