We LOVE a good party, and when it involves welcoming a new little one, we are smitten! Shannon, my partner in crime over at Petite Party Studio, got the news that she would be welcoming a baby girl, and after having five boy-themed baby showers between the two of us, I knew we’d go all out for the only lil’ mama joining the crew. This shower was so much fun to plan. We decided on a darling woodland fox motif and added in our own fun twist—foxy baby, foxy mama.
The color palette was loaded with pinks, corals and pops of gold, and, as always, we incorporated lots of DIY projects to give the shower that personal touch. Cut pieces of burlap trimmed with tissue fringe were used as placemats, and themed printables helped to carry the theme throughout the party.
The darling little fox made its way onto the cake and cookies that were made by Inspired Sugar.
DIY Acorn cookies played up the woodland theme and were super easy to create. Mini nutter butters, hershey kisses and chocolate chips were held together with a little chocolate frosting. Your guests with go nuts for these tasty treats!Guests were given strict instructions to “Stay Foxy” by stopping by the beauty bar to grab some goodies to go.
What a special day for the mama-to-be. This theme would be perfect for a girl or a boy shower. Or change up the color scheme and add in a snowy element for a darling winter-themed woodland fox shower, fitting for this time of year.

Hi!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this theme and so does my friend whose shower I’m planning! Do you have directions for creating the nutter butter and Hershey kiss treats?
Beth
Hi Jessica, The key is to use Nutter Butter Bites (they are round). Then just assemble the pieces using chocolate frosting to attach the hershey kiss on the bottom and the chocolate chip on the top. Good luck and have fun planning the shower!
