Britax Introduces ClickTight Technology

Installing a car seat can be a frustrating task. Complicated buckles, latches and straps and differences among vehicles have made me yank and shove on more than one occasion. Data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration continues to show that many car seats are incorrectly installed or children are not properly secured in them. That’s why I was eager to meet with the Britax team at an event here in Manhattan, in celebration of their ClickTight installation technology in their most popular convertible car seats—the Marathon, Boulevard and Advocate.

The beauty of the ClickTight system is that it really does live up to its name. I had a go at the installation process, and it truly is straightforward and simple. Just open the front compartment of the car seat, slide the belt through the slots, buckle the seat belt and then click the seat shut. It is as simple as buckling a seat belt!

In addition to providing Safe Cell Impact Protection far exceeding Federal Safety Requirements, there is an added peace of mind in the seat’s ease of installation. In both rear and forward facing-positions, even the occasional car seat installer will be able to confidently install a ClickTight securely.

ClickTight technology is available in the Marathon ClickTight Convertible Car Seat ($329.99), the Boulevard ClickTight Seat ($369.99) and the Advocate ClickTight Complete Side Impact Protection MAX ($419.00).
