The Perfect Pink Paint

If you’ve ever painted a room in your home only to realize after the paint has dried that the color you chose is all wrong, you know that color can make or break a space. And while choosing a paint color is an exciting step in the design process, standing in front of the endless rainbow of swatches at the paint store can also be overwhelming.

With so many paint options available, customers often ask me to recommend paint colors for their spaces. One of the most challenging hues to work with is pink, so for those of you with daughters (or baby girls on the way), here are three perfect pink paint colors that would work well in a variety of girls’ nurseries.

Pink Cloud by Benjamin Moore is a pale pink with a hint of peach. This delicate color has an almost neutral feeling, and it would be perfect for a traditional girl’s nursery.

For a true light pink nursery, try Farrow and Ball’s Nancy’s Blushes. It’s a pure pink hue that is soft and charming, and it would be the perfect backdrop for a sweet little girl’s room.

Lullaby Paints—my favorite paint brand—offers a richer, rosier pink called Hydrangea. Try it as a pop of color on an accent wall to give your space a vibrant and modern feeling.
