Softness Lands at RH Baby & Child

Have you noticed that Restoration Baby & Child has really evolved? They still master the dark wood furniture and matelasse bedding which is no doubt rich and mature looking, but a breath of fresh air has found its way into their pieces. RH Baby & Child has recently expanded their nursery and childrens collections to include some beautiful additions. I’m particularly drawn to the more feminine styles like their Emelia and Colette bedroom collections.

I also love the new finishes like the lightly distressed silver patina of the Charlotte dresser and the white iron cribs. In addition to furniture they have added new bedding collections as well like the delicate embroidered Trellis Bedding and the Frayed Ruffled Bedding. Although quite traditional and girly these new items are a nice departure from their older more masculine collections.

I would also like to see the new French Emipire Chandelier in a little girls nursery or toddler room. A great price at $249 it would make a beautiful focal point for a traditional and sophisticated style.

Did you also hear that RH Baby & Child is expecting? Their first store opens on June 3rd in Northern California. I can’t wait to check it out.
