“Sweet” Party Themes

Party planning can get overwhelming for a lot of Moms!  There are so many little details, and I often get asked how to create a simple, stylized birthday party.  My advice is to always “brand” your party – pick a color palette, a theme, even a logo, and carry it throughout your entire party.

One of the easiest ways to do this is by coordinating your birthday sweets to your party invitations and paper goods. To help you do this, I would like to introduce you to one of my favorite vendors, Two Sugar Babies.  Their creative fondant toppers have graced the cupcakes on some of my favorite parties.  Remember Austin’s modern train party?  Or the bumble bee birthday bash?  The toppers are perfect little pieces of art, and dress up a store-bought cupcake like nothing else!

Two Sugar Babies has recently put together an exclusive collection of fondant cupcake toppers to coordinate with some of my best selling invitations to make planning the perfect birthday party just a little bit easier!  Here are a few favorites:

mod safari polka dot, collection, and honeycomb fondant toppers, mod safari invitation

modern silhouette topper and bold lattice initial topper, modern silhouette invitation

aqua blue and red number topper, modern train topper, modern train invitation

flower topper, girl monkey face topper, 3-D monkey topper, girl monkey invitation

I think this is perfect for those moms who are working, or are otherwise not able to spend too much time planning their kids’ parties. Finally! These toppers can help busy moms still create an eyecatching centerpiece and it’s easy on the budget too!

I like the silhouette design for Charlotte Grace’s party. My daughter simply adores Barbie and I think I’m gonna use the Barbie logo silhouette on her cupcake. Thanks for the idea!
